Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out how to get out of this predicament.



Gabriella Marzetta (Allison/Dr. Wink) is thrilled to be working with Vital Theatre Company again! A CAP21 graduate, she has been seen in Off-Broadway productions over the past couple years including "Frankenstein: A New Musical" at The St. Luke's Theatre as Elizabeth Lavenza, "Science Fair" as Jean Simon at Theatre Row, and "Flight School" as Penguin with Vital Theatre Company at The McGinn/Cazale Theatre, and regionally in "Hair" as Jeanie at Pentangle Arts in Woodstock, VT. She would like to thank her teachers, friends, and family for getting her where she is today and everyone at Vital Theatre Company. You can catch her as Dorothy in the Vital Theatre Company tour of "The Wizard of Oz" and “Pinkalicious” at St. Luke’s Theatre starting this summer.

Luke Doyle (Peter) is a Brooklyn-based artist and educator originally from Providence, RI and a recent graduate of NYU, The American Theatre Wing's SpringboardNYC, and Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver's Actor Therapy. Most recently, Luke played Clark in a workshop of a one-man show, Dear Henry at The Duplex NYC. Other New York credits include: Julius Caesar, Hamlet Shakespeare2Go), original cast of Meta: A New Play (playwright Deborah Zoe Laufer), West Side Story (Skirball Center for the Arts), The History Boys (Snapple Theatre Center), Beyond Therapy (Triskillian Arts). Film and TV: Most Evil, Scorned (Investigation Discovery), various PSAs, and featured on Sleepy Man Banjo Boys' Same Same Stars music video. As well, Luke is a cabaret performer and has performed at venues such as The West End, Dont Tell Mama, and The Duplex NYC. Luke is a proud teaching artist, instructing arts-based curriculums at multiple after school programs such as Opening Act, Grace Church School, and 14th St Y.

Erika Wasko (Pinkalicious) is thrilled to be returning to Vital Theatre Company, this time in Pinkalicious: The Musical (previously The Butterfly Girl)! Erika is ecstatic to be back home performing in NYC, after having spent the past two years performing in and choreographing regional productions around Pennsylvania and New Jersey! Most recently, Erika was seen in the Walnut Street Theatres production of Holiday Inn. Favorite credits include A Chorus Line (Kristine), Carousel (u/s Louise & Carrie Pipperidge), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), 42nd Street (Anytime Annie), and Nunsense (Sister Mary Leo). Many thanks to Holly, Stephen, and the entire cast and crew for welcoming me so pinkatastically to the show!

Elora Daniels (Mrs. Pinkerton) is tickled pink to be returning to the role of Mrs Pinkerton! She has performed in Vital’s productions of Pinkalicious, Flight School and The Wizard of Oz and has been seen on stages across the country in the national tours of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Live!” and “Alexander Who’s Not… Going to Move.” Regionally, some of her favorite credits include Minnie Fay (Hello Dolly), Serena Katz (Fame! the Musical), and Maureen (RENT). Elora holds a BM in Vocal Performance from the University of New Mexico and is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Alex Schneidman (Mr. Pinkerton) is a Manhattan-based performer and writer from Great Neck, NY. He is a recent graduate of Northwestern University. This is his New York debut. Some favorite past experiences include performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and developing new work with the American Music Theatre Project (NU). Thank you to Dan Tomaselli and to his family.

Christina Emily Jackson (Pinkalicious) is excited to be back at Vital Theater after having originated the role of Meredith in Peace, Love, and Cupcakes! From Cincinnati, Ohio to Penn State to NYC! Just closed An American in Paris at The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, and spent the majority of the past year playing Penny in Hairspray at both North Shore Music Theater and The Argyle Theatre! National/International Tours: Teen Fiona in Shrek, Brigitta in The Sound of Music, Sally in A Charlie Brown Christmas. Other favorite credits: Disney Cruise Line Grease (Maine State Music Theatre), Singin in the Rain (Greater Ocean City Theater Company). Carly Reed Carlstrom (Alison/Dr. Wink) is thrilled to join the cast of Flight School and Pinkalicious! Her credits include Musical Thrones: a Parody of Ice and Fire (National Tour) as Daenerys/Sansa/Arya/Ygritte and other characters from the HBO series, James and the Giant Peach as Aunt Sponge, Mary in Jesus Christ Superstar (Regional Theatre), and Gladys in Memphis (AMDA College and Conservatory of the performing arts). Carly graduated with her BFA in musical theater from AMDA in 2017. See you in the nest!

Lauryn Morgan Thomas (Pinkalicious) is honored to make her Vital Theater Company debut! Previous credits include: Can Can (Broadway Theatre of Pitman, NJ) Ragtime (Sketch Club Players, NJ) United and Lockhardt (Philadelphia Fringe) Truth & Confessions (Standing Ovations, original cast, PA), Spelling Bee, Nine, Midsummer, and Avenue Q (Univ. of Pittsburgh Stages), and Lightyears Away From You (Univ. of Pittsburgh Stages) which she devised and performed as a solo show. She has also appeared at the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia as part of the Next Generation Cabaret and at Dont Tell Mama in Seths Talent Showcase in New York. Erik Gosnell (Peter Pinkerton) is tickled PINK to be making his Vital Theatre Company debut in two amazing shows! A Nebraska native, Erik flew the coup and currently resides in New York City. He was last seen in the National tour of Daniel Tigers Neighborhood Live: King For A Day! (Prince Wednesday) with Mills Entertainment. Some past credits include: A Charlie Brown Christmas (Jenny Wiley Theatre), Alexander Whos NotGoing To Move (Two Beans Productions/Theatreworks USA!), Rap-Punzel (Florida Studio Theatre), Shrek The Musical (Pinewood Bowl, Inc.) Michelle Martinelli (Mrs. Pinkerton) is thrilled to be joining Vital Theatre Company for the first time! No stranger to the road, she appeared last year in Brown Box Theatre Projects touring production of The Broadway Jukebox. Other favorite past credits include The Donkey Show (American Repertory Theater), Born For This (ArtsEmerson), The Finish Line (Boston Theatre Company), and Two Gentlemen of Verona (Commonwealth Shakespeare Company). She is a graduate of the BFA Musical Theatre program at Emerson College, a yoga teacher in Manhattan, and creator of A Common Law Cabaret performed at The Duplex NYC.

James Hunsaker (Mr. Pinkerton) is an actor and teacher based in NYC. Having recently completed a BFA in Musical Theatre from Pace University, he has been acting and working with young aspiring actors professionally in New York and regionally throughout the country (Proctors, MacHaydn, Dogwood Dell, VTMTA/Spotlight, Dance Cavise). He would like to thank his family, Harvey, and Vital Theatre for their support along the way.

Catie Shelley (Mrs. Pinkerton) is delighted to be returning to Vital Theatre Companys Pinkalicious and The Wizard of Oz! Originally from Canada, Catie graduated from NYU with her Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance. Favorite credits include: Miss Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie (Light Opera of New Jersey), Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute (Opera New Jersey), and Phyllis in Iolanthe (G&S Society of Nova Scotia). She recently spent the Holiday season performing with The Polar Express in Whippany, NJ and in Skyline Theatre Companys Singing Through the Holidays. Catie is a licensed NYC tour guide and comedy Host on The Ride!

Katelyn Degennaro (Production Stage Manager) Katelyn DeGennaro is glad to be working on another show with Vital Theatre Company. She has also created the props for Vital's productions of Kid Frankenstein, Angelina Ballerina, Owen and Mzee, and Pinkalicious (National Tour). Katelyn has been creating props and stage managing in Northern New Jersey for the past ten years. She would like to thank her family for all of their support and hopes you all enjoy the show!

Victoria Kann (Book & Lyrics) Victoria Kann is the award-winning illustrator and author of the picture book series featuring the whimsical and effervescent character, Pinkalicious. Victoria co-authored and illustrated the first two books, Pinkalicious, Purplicious as well as the play, Pinkalicious The Musical. She wrote and illustrated Goldilicious, Silverlicious, Emeraldalicious, Aqualicious, Peterrific, and is working on several more books about the adventures and antics of Pinkalicious.The Pinkalicious character was inspired by Victoria's real life daughters two girls with vibrant imaginations who love cupcakes, dress up, playing princess, and all things pink. Recently Victoria's husband, a toy designer, built a tree house for their Princess Pinkerbelles. She often hears galloping in the house and wonders if it's Goldilicious or just her Pinkerellas. Victoria is the co-executive producer of Pinkalicious & Peterrific on PBS Kids.

Elizabeth Kann (Book & Lyrics) Elizabeth Kann is a doctor who has yet to see an actual case of Pinkititis. She co-authored the text of Pinkalicious, Pinkalicious The Musical and Purplicious with her sister, Victoria Kann. Her writing has appeared in a variety of newspaper and print publications.She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, who is also a doctor, and their three children.

John Gregor (Music & Lyrics) John Gregor is the recipient of a Frederick Loewe Reading for his musical WITH GLEE, for which he wrote the book, music and lyrics. WITH GLEE opened Off-Broadway in 2010 to sold out audiences and rave reviews.He is also composer and lyricist of PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL, based on the book by Elizabeth and Victoria Kann, now in its seventh year Off-Broadway and produced from London to San Diego. His musical adaptation of Gogols tragicomic short story THE OVERCOAT has been presented in London at the Bridewell Theatre, Barrington Stage Company and The New York International Fringe Festival. He has also co-written several Theater For Young Audiences musicals for the Vital Theatre Company, including THE CHANGELING.John Gregor lives in New York and holds an MFA in musical theatre writing from New York Universitys Tisch School of the Arts and a degree in musical theatre from Emerson College.

Teresa K. Pond (Director) holds a BFA in Communications from Chapman University and an MFA in Directing from University of California Irvines prestigious Claire Trevor School of Arts, Teresa has directed professionally Off-Broadway, regionally, and internationally. She has worked with New York Classical Theatre, Vital Theatre Company, and the NY Fringe Festival and also previously served as the Executive Director of Anchorage Community Theatre. She has served on arts councils, development groups and other committee associations locally in Anchorage she has collaborated on and off stage with organizations such as Perseverance Theatre, ACT, ATY, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Alaska Dance Theatre, UAA Department of Theatre, Out North Theatre, and worked with several nonprofit and charitable groups in a variety of roles.

Suzu McConnell-Wood (Original Director) is a theatre artist and educator. Currently she is the Elementary Theatre Teacher at Achievement First Iluminar. Prior to Iluminar she taught at the IDEAL School of Manhattan teaching music, theatre and social justice curriculum to grades K-12. She was the Program Director at Kids Creative managing afterschool and summer camp programs. Suzu has over 10 years of experience as a theatre teaching artist in urban NYC classrooms. Her teaching artist experience includes the Broadway show Allegiance with Inspire Change, The Creative Arts Team, Epic Theatre, Border Crossers and Capacity Arts. She has presented theatre based workshops at the AATE National Conference and AATE NY Theatre in Our Schools conference, NYC Arts Education Face to Face Conference, and Facing Race. As the Director of Vital Childrens Theatre, she directed the original Pinkalicious the Musical and The Bully. She is an actor with Living Voices touring multi-media one-woman shows to schools and communities, as well as an ensemble member with Honest Accomplice Theatre and The Forum Project. She holds a Masters in Applied Theatre and earned a Bachelors Degree in Drama and Arts Education. Suzu is passionate about theatre for social change and she continues to create theatre with, for and by community groups on issues such as gender and sexuality, racial injustice, bullying and the environment.
