Her award-winning premiere production of Half Life was hailed as the top show of The New York International Fringe Festival (New York Magazine). Regional work: The Barber of Seville (Bleecker Street Opera); Suor Angelica, Pagliacci (Anchorage Opera); Amahl and the Night Visitors; The Clean House and Nickel and Dimed at Western Stage (CA); Tartuffe, Macbeth (LA Times review); The Foreigner, Perfect Wedding at Millbrook Theatre (PA); Sylvia and Shakespeare in Hollywood at Cyrano's Theatre (AK); plus Of Mice and Men and The Day Maggie Blew Off Her Head, among others. Teresa has directed at NYU and Stella Adler Conservatory, and she is the former artistic leader of A.C.T. in Anchorage. Teresa is a member of The Lincoln Center Directors' Lab and The Women's Project Directors Forum, and is a co-leader of the NYC playwright-director company NewShoe. Teresa directed the Toronto production of Pinkalicious and recently directed Richard III in Central Park (NY Classical Theatre). A proud member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).
