ABOUT THE SHOW

Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament.

Emma Copp (Allison) is thrilled to take flight with this Pinkalicious team! Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, she received her BA in Music from Fordham University. Favorite recent projects include Spring Awakening (Wendla), Spelling Bee (Logainne), and Birdgirl, Emma's original family musical. A million thanks to her endlessly supportive friends and family!

Catie Shelley (Mrs. Pinkerton) recently made her debut with Vital Theatre as Glinda in The Wizard of Oz! Originally from New Brunswick Canada, she graduated from NYU Steinhardt with her Master's in Vocal Performance. Favorite roles include: Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie (Light Opera of New Jersey), Cora in Little Mary Sunshine (Musicals Tonight), Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute (Opera New Jersey) and Phyllis in Iolanthe (G&S Society of NS). Brian Graziani (Mr. Pinkerton) Originally a Jersey Boy, Brian is thrilled be be joining the Pinkalicious team! Off Broadway: Queen Of The Night (Footman). Rachel Oremland (Pinkalicious) is very excited to be making her debut with Vital Theatre Company! Some of her favorite theatre credits include Mayzie in Seussical and Liesl in the Sound of Music. Rachel received her BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch where she studied at the New Studio on Broadway and Stonestreet Studios. CREATIVES

Elizabeth Kann & Victoria Kann (Book and Lyrics), co-authors of Pinkalicious (Harper Collins, 2006), which Victoria also illustrated, are sisters who grew up in Brooklyn. Victoria’s award-winning artwork has graced the covers and pages of magazines, newspapers and books. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, she teaches at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Elizabeth’s writing has appeared in a variety of newspaper and print publications. She is also a doctor with degrees from Vassar, Columbia and Albany Medical College. Visit www.cupcakesforall.com.

John Gregor (Music, Lyrics, Orchestrations) wrote the book, music and lyrics for With Glee, which premiered off-Broadway at the Kirk Theater. John's adaptation of Gogol's The Overcoat has been presented in London at the Bridewell Theatre, Barrington Stage Company and The NY International Fringe Festival. Teresa K. Pond (Director and Producer). New York: Off-Broadway production of Pinkalicious; premiere productions and readings with The Women's Project Theatre (Off Broadway), Vital Theatre, Loft Theatre and others. Her award-winning premiere production of Half Life was hailed as the top show of The New York International Fringe Festival (New York Magazine). Regional work: The Barber of Seville (Bleecker Street Opera); Suor Angelica, Pagliacci (Anchorage Opera); Amahl and the Night Visitors; The Clean House and Nickel and Dimed at Western Stage (CA); Tartuffe, Macbeth (LA Times review); The Foreigner, Perfect Wedding at Millbrook Theatre (PA); Sylvia and Shakespeare in Hollywood at Cyrano's Theatre (AK); plus Of Mice and Men and The Day Maggie Blew Off Her Head, among others. Teresa has directed at NYU and Stella Adler Conservatory, and she is the former artistic leader of A.C.T. in Anchorage. Teresa is a member of The Lincoln Center Directors' Lab and The Women's Project Directors Forum, and is a co-leader of the NYC playwright-director company NewShoe. Teresa directed the Toronto production of Pinkalicious and recently directed Richard III in Central Park (NY Classical Theatre). A proud member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).
