From the moment we stepped in the theatre, we were entranced. It's like the audience is welcomed right inside the set, which is Pinkalicious' house. There are bright pink mats on the floor for the kids to sit on, right close to the stage. And for the slightly less-flexible parents, there are chairs around the outside. It's a cozy, friendly and inviting setting. read more

Pinkalicious, The Musical is currently playing in the Richmond Hill Centre for Performing Arts. Accompanied by The Boy (3.5) and his girlfriend of the same age, we embarked on a first theatre experience on a Saturday morning. I didn’t know that the book, Pinkalicious, written by Elizabeth and Victoria Kann, was so popular. We entered the small and intimate theatre to find tons of excited kids (mostly girls) dressed in pink. read more

On Saturday morning I took Finn, Jack and Olivia to see the opening of Pinkalicious, an Off-Broadway musical that has been running for three years in New York and is now playing at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts at 10268 Yonge Street in Richmond Hill. I hadn’t bargained on bumper to bumper traffic on the DVP, but we made it there just in time to find a patch of pink carpet on the floor before the 11 a.m. show kicked off. read more
